Whimsy Kenny K New Release!

Whimsy Stamps have some fab news to share with you today - we have a new rubber artist joining our team.... KENNY KIERNAN!

As many of you will know, Kenny K is currently a digital stamp artist (amongst many other things) and although Whimsy will not be carrying any Kenny K digis, we are making some of Kenny's existing designs into rubber and then hopefully adding some new designs along the line that will be exclusive to the Whimsy rubber collection!

So to celebrate this wonderful new venture, the Whimsy Stamps DT plus our fab special Whimsy guests Elaine Hughes, Deb, and Janna, are holding a BLOG HOP to showcase the EIGHT images that are being made into rubber:

All That
Devilish Donna
Download Diva
Kitty Katastrophe
Luscious Linda
Movie Star
Rock Chick

Troublemaker

Remember that Whimsy Stamps will be carrying the rubber versions of these stamps only. Kenny K will continue to offer the digital versions in his store. The rubber stamps are available to PRE-ORDER from today from the Whimsy store, and will hopefully be in stock and start shipping the week of the 27th!!

Our super-talented Ann (Raindrop Echo Designs) has designed some wonderful digital sentiments that work fabulously with these images - thank you Ann! These are also being released today!

If you would like to participate in the hop and you didn't arrive here from Crystal's blog, please CLICK HERE to return to the beginning of the hop at Simonne's blog.

The hop starts today (Thursday December 16th at noon EST) and ends on Thursday December 23rd at noon EST.

For this hop we have 4 different prize draws! The grand prize of ALL 8 of the new release rubber stamps is being hosted by Denise at the very end of the hop, but there are also 3 mini candy stops throughout the hop! I'm not going to tell you where they are, so you'll just have to keep on hopping to find them! *wink* [Winners will be announced on December 23rd after the hop ends - what a wonderful Christmas present for those lucky hoppers!]

For my blog hop creation I used .......

Kitty Katastrophe as a Christmas card with Whimsy Designer Papers!
So now it's time for you to continue the hop by hopping on over to Iris's blog where I know she has something amazing to show you!

Finally, here is a complete blog hop list in hopping order:

Thank you so much for hopping with us today and I hope you enjoy this exciting new release!

A Wedding Wish

Hello...back again to share a card I made for my friend, Diana's wedding!  She got married last month and she's coming home for a celebration party this week...so I get to give her the card this weekend!  I used the digi "Wedding Cake and Kisses," from Whimsy Stamps.  I colored them with Copics and Stickles.  The cardstock is embossed with CB D'vine Swirls.  I used the fuschia and orange ribbons (that I used on her place cards!) to match the flower. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set.  So...I should share the place cards too!

The picture on the left is the happy couple's place cards.  The picture on the right is the full box of 134 little chairs!  The ribbons signified meal choices and coordinated with the flowers at the wedding.  I can't wait to see all of the pictures!

So thanks for visiting again!  Please come back again!  I've been busy creating lots!  Have a great night!

Digi Day at Stamp Something!

Hello! Welcome to another digi day at Stamp Something!  We have several fabulous sponsors who have some fun images to play with!

I have 2 cards to post because we had so many sponsors to showcase!

My first card the image is called "Sticky Elbow," and it's from Phindy's Place! Isn't she adorable?  I colored her with Copics and paper pieced her dress.  I used some 3D iridescent paint on the ice cream cone.  The papers are K & Co. and I outlined in white Ice Stickles.  The sentiment is from a set I had in my stash.  The flowers are Prima.

The next card is called "Military Baby," by Sew Many Cards.  I thought it was perfect for a friend of mine who just had her latest baby!  I colored this cutie with Copics.  The sentiment and star stamps are part of a set from GF.  The ribbon I got on clearance at WalMart. Papers are DCWV.  I used the CB Stars folder on the background.

Another card for fun

Hi there! Back again! I returned home this weekend after caring for a sweet dog for a week.  I've got my crafting corner back in order and my mojo is on high power!  So I have this card to share.

My dear friend, Denise, was kind enough to let me stamp up some of her Magnolias to use so that's where this cutie came from!  I tried to follow the sketch from Sunday at 365.  I did turn it and move some things.  The flowers are Wild Orchids.  The papers are from DCWV Linen Closet.  The letter tags I had in my stash.  I "hand" stitched (lol) the pieces and the background paper.  Tilda is colored with Copics. Thanks for visiting! See you again soon!

365-Sunday-Sketch (turned and moved)
Lexi's Creations: real or faux stitching

Stamp a Recipe Something!

Happy Friday, All! Thanks for coming by today! I'm looking forward to a day off and going to hang out with my bestest friend and the kiddos!  Before I head out, I wanted to share our challenge at Stamp Something this week! It's a recipe:   1 Image, 1 Ribbon, 1 paper.

So I decided to whip up this "thank you" card for one of my customers.  I went with Reeta from GF.  I colored this adorable image with Copics and paper-pieced the skirt.  I used my Nesties to frame it and a white gel pen to draw the designs around the frame.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. The flowers are little silver ribbon flowers I found on clearance at Ben Franklin.  The ribbon is a $1 clearance find at Wal-Mart.  Paper is Basic Grey.  Thanks for looking and please visit the amazingly talented DT for more eye candy!

Challenges:
The Crafty Pad: Animal fun
