Some Furry Fun!

Welcome!  I have a fun little project I whipped up this afternoon.  This is "Pebbles the Cat" by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps Digital Collection!  Isn't she just precious?!  I love the angry kitty face! Funny thing...depending on how you color her, she can look so cute and sweet too!  So I used shades of yellow and orange to color her and for the papers and accents...trying to stay monochromatic.  The paws are Fun Flocked in white. The sentiment is also part of the Whimsy Digi collection and it's by Ann of Raindrop Echo Designs.  I accented the card with layered Primas, jewels, buttons, brads, spacers, etc.  Colored with Copics, diecuts with Nesties.  Hope you love it!  Come back tomorrow to see a Whimsy Inspiration post.

Red, White and Black Birthday

Hello! Hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weekend (well it is beautiful here in NH!)  I have a post that I made yesterday for fun.  I decided to work with the challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie's which was a color challenge to use red, black and white!  So I had this perfect paper and threw it on the red cardstock.  The scalloped strip is punched with ek success "Daisies" punch.  Then I lined it with furry zebra print ribbon and then added the two black brads to continue the circle theme.  I cut the center circles using a compass for the larger two layers, but the circle cutter to do the image circle.  The image is Cheeky Rockabilly from Greeting Farm.  She's colored with Copics.  I stitched all the layers twice jaggedly on purpose.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and it was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with black powder. Thanks for looking and see you tomorrow for the Whimsy New Release!
