No electricity=Productive stamping time!

Hi again!  Just wanted to share what I made last night and today while we had no power!  The horrendous storm took out trees, power lines and part of our roof!  It was a doozie!  We just got power back and I am happy to be back online!  So here's what I did:

The first card is Surfer Ian.  I was in the mood for some sunny, bright colors last night.  So I went with the colors on the DCWV paper I used with surfboards all over it.  The layout is from Lili of the Valley.  It also fits the challenge at Daring Cardmakers "Here comes the sun."  Cute Daisy May is flowers and ABC is O is for One paper.

The second card is Reeta.  We all know I love my Greeting Farm stamps!  This was the first time inking her up!  She was a Christmas gift.  I used the sketch from Papertake WeeklyAly's Sunday Sketch challenge this time was to include cats on your project.  Creative Inspirations was Monochromatic.  And again, One Paper at ABC.  Finally, ribbons and sparkle fit the challenge at C.R.A.F.T

The last card is the Whimsy Cat and Goldfish.  The inspiration for the crazy coloring of this sly kitty is the people I babysit for have a "money" cat.  And she just gave birth to 5 kittens...one of which looks just like her!  So I tried to mimick some of her markings...lol!  I also coated the fish bowl with Glossy Accents. The flowers are Primas.  I distressed all the edges with cocoa ink.  The layout is from Inspirational Card Sketches.  The theme at Saturday Spotlight AND Tuesday Taggers is Messy.  My Time to Craft is In the Frame. Aly's wanted cats and Crafty Pad wanted to see the colors Blue, Brown, Cream or White.

I think that about covers it for now!  Have a great weekend!  See you Tuesday for Creative Card Crew!
Welcome to another Friday challenge at Stamp Something! This week we have a fun recipe for you!  Use designer papers, buttons and ribbons on your creation!  The sponsor is Simon Says Stamps!  For my card, I went with my new favorite image...Cheeky Cherries "Rockabilly" from the Greeting Farm!  I just adore this look!  I used a layout from Sketch and Stash.  The flowers are Primas.  The image is colored with watercolor pencils and Copics (my first try at Copics! I already ordered more colors, so I should have it right soon :) ) The paper is DCWV and the sentiment is a metal circle tag I found in a multi-pack  at Building 19!  The buttons are from a mixed batch I have.  Don't forget to visit the other DT and Guest DT member's pages for more inspiration!  Thanks for dropping by!

Challenge time!

Hi there!  The week is almost over...I can't wait :)  My whole body is tired of work!  But, I still find a way to create!  I have a card that I originally made as a DT card for one of the challenge blogs.  But I decided to make something a little more my style for that challenge (come back tomorrow to see!)  I went with a GF Hope and Grace image.  I colored her to match the papers.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I punched layered circles and miraculously found coordinating buttons!  "Hope" you like it :)  Thanks for stopping by!

Challenges:
The Pink Elephant:  Sketch
Cute Card Thursday:  Ribbon-tastic
Pile it On: Get well soon
PaperCutz: Get well

MyGrafico Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Ahoy there!  Thanks for visiting me today!  And welcome to another MyGrafico sketch challenge!  This week we have this cute Pirate set from Black Leaf!  I used the pirate and I sized his head larger than his body.  I also used the parrot.  Both are colored with watercolor pencils and gel pens.  The card is for my step-dad's birthday. He's a big boater so we joke about the whole pirate thing...lol!  The papers are DCWV.  The sentiment is one I typed on the computer and punched then layered on a black punched circle.  There is a strip of black ribbon between the 2 papers.  I used button brads on the pirate's vest.  I hope you like him!  And if you do, stop by the rest of the DT's pages to see what they came up with!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Pollycraft:  2 images
