2 Boys Birthdays!

So glad it's Friday!  I am exhausted today!  Hope everyone had a great week!  This weekend I have a double birthday party to attend on Sunday.  Two of my cousin's sons are celebrating their birthdays in a double party at a bowling alley!  They are turning 14 and 7.  So I had to find some good boy inspiration!  I went with GF of course!  Soldier Ian and Skater Ian seemed to be the perfect fit!  I colored them both with Copics and watercolor pencils.  I used several CB embossing folders on each one.  The metal tag sentiment came in a bag from Building 19. I attached some plain silver chain to emulate dog tags.  The second card's sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.  Thanks for looking :)

Challenges:
Double Dutch:  Boys Only
Gingersnap:  Celebrate
Crazy 4 Challenges: 3 different textures (both cards)
Sketch Saturday: sketch (Card #2)
Anyone for Anya: Sketch (Card #1)

See you soon!

Stamp Something Girlie!

Hi all!  Thanks for coming by today!  I've been a stamping fool this week!  I'll post it all later.  For right now, I am going to show you the challenge over at Stamp Something!  We would like to see your best girlie cards!  Our sponsor this week is Sassy Studio Designs! They kindly gave us DT members a couple of images to choose from.  I went with "Bubble Bath."  I know a lot of people (Mom's) that could use some "me" time.  So that was the inspiration for this!  I colored her with Copics and watercolor pencils.  The bubbles are white ice Stickles.  Thanks so much for checking it out, and please visit the rest of the DT for inspiration!

The Pink Elephant:  Add green

My Time to Craft:  Just for Mum

MyGrafico Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Welcome back!  Hope your week is going well :)  Today I have my DT card for MyGrafico's Wednesday Sketch challenge!  Our set we are working with this week is called "Tea Party," by Black Leaf.

I used the CB folder Swiss Dots for the background paper and the Paisley folder for the white squares.  The flowers are Primas and ribbon rosebuds layered.  I used a branch punch for the "spray" around the flowers.  The Teapot is colored with Copics and popped with 3D squares.

Thanks for stopping by today and please visit the rest of the DT for more inspiration!

Challenges:
Cute Card Thursday: Ribbon-tastic

Allsorts: Mother's Day
Crazy 4 Challenges: 3 Different textures ( swiss dots folder, paisley folder, ribbons/flowers)

Now, onto my card :)

This card I made in honor of Creative Card Crew's celebration!  This is Flutterby Anya from GF.  I colored her with watercolor pencils.  The papers are DCWV "Nana's Kids" pack.  I love how girly it came out!  I always need kid birthday cards!  I used the layout from LaLa Land.  The card also fits challenges at:  LaLa Land: Sketch, Paper Cutz: Feminine birthday with fairy and pastels, Secret Crafter:  Stitching, The Pink Elephant: Add a little green to your color combo, Creative Belli: Butterfly or dragonfly,  Gingersnap: Birthday and Stamp, Scrap and Doodle:  Sparkle (paper and butterfly and flower)
