Stamp Something Favorite!

It's Friday again!  That means our newest challenge at Stamp Something!  September is "Favorites" month, and this week we'd like to see your favorite embellishments!  I used the sketch from The Sugar Bowl, as well as the color scheme. I did use a patchwork design on the background and some distressing, a die cutter for the circles and my favorite embellishments...brads (these particular ones are my favorite!) eyelets and flowers!  The image is colored with water color pencils and highlighted with a white gel pen.  I distressed with brown ink and a distressing tool.  Thanks for stopping by and please scurry over to the other DT members blogs!
This card fits the following challenges:
ABC-D...Diecuts (circles)
LalaLand-Distressing (image and underlying circle)
The Sugar Bowl-Sketch and pink and brown, and Sugar Nellie image (BUT NOT ELIGIBLE BECAUSE IT FITS OTHER CHALLENGES)
Cute Card Thursday- Strawberry mint julep (pink and green) (stamped
image coloring)
Charisma Cardz- Patchwork (background papers)
Whimsy Stamps- Sew Sew Sew (faux stitching on background paper)

Inspirtational Card Sketches DT Submissions

Hello!  Here's a quick post as it's late and I have a LONG day ahead tomorrow!  I made 3 cards tonight from one sketch for Inspirational Card Sketches DT audition. The first one has no stamping, the second one is not my best color matching.  The third is my final attempt...and I am very happy with the way it turned out. I hope it's up to par for this opportunity!  Please leave some feedback!  Thanks!

Scrap attempt...

Hi again, All!  Tonight is a quick post that I did for Scrap and Stamp Saturday.  The theme this week was "love." So I used my cats as my inspiration!  The pics are old...as the tiger cat in the pics passed away several years ago.  But the 2 were inseparable!  So I thought they were purrfect ;) for my subject matter!  I used some DSP from DCVW.  This layout was taken from Sketch Saturday.  Thanks for coming back!  See you soon!

Scrap and Stamp Saturday: Love
Secret Crafter: Hearts and flowers
Polly Craft: Furry friends
Sketch Saturday: Sketch (layout)
ABC: Circles

Whimsy and more...

Hello and Happy Monday to you all!  I hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day weekend!  It's been a gorgeous one here!  I spent Saturday at the lake with my parents, Sunday afternoon with all of my siblings, nieces and nephews and today is just hanging out doing work around the house!  In my free time I put together my card for this week's Whimsy Stamp Challenge!  The challenge is to have sewing on your piece.  It can be real or faux.  So my card was made to fit with several challenges this week!  My stitching is hard to see on the picture but I used a blue thread and the zigzag stitch.  You'll see why in the challenge list to follow :)  The image is the fabulous Whimsy Stamps Alligator who I embossed with the CB tiny mosaic folder and embellished with a red bow.  The sentiment is using a mini alphabet set from the dollar bin at Ben Franklin.  Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to drop over to see the works of the rest of the DT!
