A Touch of Spring at Stamp Something!

Happy Friday and Welcome!  Thanks for coming by today!  Our challenge at Stamp Something is hosted by ME!  And I chose "A Touch of Spring" as the theme!  Whiff of Joy is our sponsor for this challenge!  I used one of my favorite WOJ images and colored her with watercolor pencils and gel pens. The layout is from the sketch at Basic Grey (though the card is not eligible!)  I just love the colors of this!  The sentiment is from SU.  The papers are K&Co and the lace was from a "kit" I got at The Dollar Tree!  I really hope you join in the challenge and help us beat the winter blues!  The DT has done a fantabulous job, so please visit them all!  Thanks for stopping by!

New Digi

So I'm addicted to Greeting Farm images!  I usually would prefer to have rubber stamps, but when I saw this digi, it was a MUST have!  She's too cute!  So I went with a sketch and I saw that the challenge for Creative Inspirations was Sepia...well I started with the right tone!  Anyway, the image is called "Rain."  I colored her with watercolor pencils.  The sentiment is a wood stamp from my stash.  The small flower stamps are from a SU set.  The paper is DCWV Crafty Stack. The flowers are different Primas layered and affixed with gold spacers and copper brads.  The large brads I got at Joann's.  I edged all of the layers with Close to Cocoa ink from SU.  Thanks for taking a peek!  See you soon!

Birthday and a Sketch

Hi again!  Hope everyone is having a fun and eventful week! I'm getting some free time for a lot of stamping.  And I'm getting to ink up some stamps I haven't touched yet!  Like this Whimsy Dog!  I love him! He's so cute!  The sentiment is from SU.  I colored him with watercolor pencils and a gel pen.  I used 2 papers from a Doggy pack I got at Michaels.  The ribbon is also from Michael's.  The bone paperclips and the buttons I found at Big Lots.  Thanks for checking him out :)

MyGrafico Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Welcome! Thanks for coming by today!  Here's my post for MyGrafico this week!  We got to work with the CAMPING IN THE WILD set by Kelly Medina.  Isn't this bear sneaky looking?  I colored him with watercolor pencils.  The signpost, I colored in browns and grays to weather the look.  I used SU words for the sentiment and inside the card reads, "Birthdays can be such a bear! Hope it's a fun-filled day!"  I used CB folders Branches, and Mesh.  I also used the CB Funky Circles Die for the backing for the bear.  Thanks for stopping by and please visit ALL of the DT to see some fabulous inspiration!
