Whimsy Inspiration's New Monthly Challenge!

Okay...so I'm SO LATE today with this post! But Whimsy's Inspiration blog is hosting a new monthly challenge to celebrate new Digi releases!  Today marks the launch of the newest line from artists, Crissy Armstrong, Melissa Jenkins, Ann Vento (sentiments) and Whimsy Design Studio!  The challenge for today is a recipe:

Please use markers, pretty papers, flowers, and of course a Whimsy image!!!

So my first card for the challenge portion of Whimsy Inspirations is below. I used the new "Gracie's Roses," by Crissy Armstrong.  Isn't she just adorable!  I colored her in Copics and then embellished her with green 3D glitter gel.  The flowers are from my stash and the papers are  DCWV.
So thanks for checking it out! Please run back to Whimsy Inspirations to play along or to just soak up some Inspiration!

Challenges:
365 (Thurs) all that glitters...3 colors of glitter (I used purple, green and silver)
Charisma Cardz: Girly with flowers
Delightful Sketches: Punches (branch punch, tag punch)
Sketch and Stash:  Sketch (flipped)
Incy Wincy: Anything goes

Three for Today!

Hi All! Thanks for stopping by today! I am sharing what I made today...2 Boy Birthday cards and a Thank You!  I went to the CKC in Manchester, NH yesterday with some friends and we had a ball! It wasn't quite as big as we are used to, but it was still worth my while! I got TONS of new goodies to play with!  Including "Camille," by the GF.  I also got 2 other GF stamps, the Martha Stewart scoring board, tons of papers and lots of other stuff!  I'm so excited! So lets get to it!

So this is a card made for the boy I babysit.  He's a HUGE Star Wars fan, so I thought this adorable digi from the Greeting Farm called "Chibi Kendo," would be perfect!  The papers are Cosmo Cricket.  He's colored with Copics and the "light saber" is coated with Glossy Accents.

Challenges:
Creative Belli: Birthday (old forgotten stash is the button)
Corrosive: Celebrate, Birthdays
Stamp With Us: Birthday

This is "Camille" by The Greeting Farm.  I picked her up at the CKC from Scrap-Mart! I love her! She's colored with Copics and the fur is Fun Flocked.  The sentiment is Whimsy Stamps.  I also got the bling at the CKC!

Challenges:
ABC: T is for Thank you
Crazy 4 Challenges: Sketch
Totally Gorjuss: In stitches

And Finally...

This is a card I made for my nephew's birthday.  I won this digi on a challenge blog, but the designer escapes my memory!  Oopsie! I paper pieced the skateboard and the papers are all Cosmo Cricket.

Challenges:
Corrosive: Birthday
Pile it On: Boyish colors
Stamp With Us: Birthday
By the Cute and Girly: Celebrations
Creative Belli: Birthday (old stash, tag tiles)
LaLa Land: Altered embellies (tags are letters on other sides!)
Truly Scrumptious: Sketch and hidden message (hidden message is photo below)
365 Wednesday: Moving Parts (sliding tag)

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope to see you back soon!
