Greeting Farm Fun!

Happy Weekend, All!  I'm just popping in with a card I finished last night for a challenge at Quixotic's challenge.  It was to alter Greeting Farm images on your piece.  I had a blast with this!  I really love my GF's and this made me love them so much more!  I started off with Sheriff Ian and Wild West Anya.  Then I dug out my Dress Me Ian and the shorts and the Dress Me Anya with the summer sundress.  I colored the pieces with Copics and then paper pieced her dress.  I saved the legs and boots on Wild West Anya too. Then I assembled the cuteness!  I knew I needed a country song for this card.  My initial plan I decided was not appropriate given the cute factor...so I went with Kenny Chesney's "No shoes, no shirt, no problem!"  I thought it was a perfect match!  I hope you like it!

Something Distressed!

Happy Friday!  It's been a beautiful weather week here in NH!  Tomorrrow looks to be a fabulous day too!  Glad I got my stamping done in advance!  So this week at Stamp Something, the challenge is "Distressed Somethings."  The sponsor this week is Stamp and Create.  I got to play with "Happy Day," by Wags n Whiskers. I colored her with Copics and paper pieced her dress with My Mind's Eye papers.  She is supposed to be holding a pinwheel, but I chose to put a flower there instead :) I distressed EVERYTHING! MyGrafico 40th Challenge and some news...

Happy Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by again!  Today I have my post for the 40th challenge at MyGrafico!  The winner of the challenge this week is a Guest DT position!  There are some new rules beginning this week at MyG.  You now MUST use a MyG image on your creation in order to participate in the challenges.  MyGrafico has some freebies on the site, so please check it out!  This week, we are working with the Vintage Chic furniture set by Black Leaf.  I worked with a chair, table and lamp.  The chair is printed on K&Co paper and colored with water color pencils.  The lamp is watercolored.  The table is colored with Copics.  I tried to emulate wood grain :) The flowers are from Wild Orchids.  The papers are K&Co.  Thanks for checking it out and please visit all of the DT for more inspiration!

I went with Summer Day Emma from the Whimsy Kids collection!  I thought this would be a great Mother's Day card! I colored her with watercolor pencils and Copics.  I embossed the white oval with CB Swiss dots and used this fabulous ribbon I got in the Valentine's section at Joann's.  I added the gems for some extra dots :)  I really hope you love this!  And please check out the rest of the DT's FABULOUS inspiration!  Thanks for stopping by today!
