Another Brother's Birthday

So this is birthday season in my family. I have 3 brothers...all born in March and April. So today I'm posting the second card in the set...lol!  This is for my oldest brother's birthday next week.  I went with Dress Me Ian and colored him and the clothing with Copics.  The layout is from Crazy 4 Challenges.  I used My Mind's Eye paper and the acetate is embossed with a Quikutz folder.  The second photo shows the detail a bit better.  The sentiment is from SU and the sentiment charm I got a Building #19.  I hope you like it!

Whimsy Inspirations

Happy Sunday, Everyone! Today I want to quickly share a card I made a while back but never got to posting.  It was just for fun, but now I have a reason to post it!  I took a turn hosting the Inspiration at Whimsy's Inspiration Blog!  I made this card using "Shy Ann" from the mythical collection by Katie Sowa.  I just love this little one!  I love her big eyes! I colored her with Copics and gold Stickles.  The flowers are from Wild Orchids and Michaels.  The background "paper" is actually a napkin that I originally bought to do the felted cardstock technique, but my plastic wrap was not cooperating! I used 2 SU oval punches, 1 McGillis branch punch and a corner punch for the center squares.  The ribbon is from a surplus store in my area. The sentiment is from Whimsy's "Spring Stepping" set.  I hope you love her as much as I do!  And please check out Whimsy's Inspiration blog now to get your Whimsy mojo flowing!

Another Altered Anya

Hi there! Quick post here...I made this fun "vacation" card altering a couple of my GF Anya's.  I used Flutterby Anya's head with Dress Me Anya's body and the sarong and sunglasses from the Summer Wardrobe set.  I paper pieced the bikini top and sarong and colored the flowers on the sarong with Copics.  I colored the rest of the Anya pieces with Copics as well.  I used Glossy Accents on the sunglasses and some red Stickles.  So that's just about it!  Thanks for looking and I'll be back in the AM with my MyGrafico post!

A Brother's Birthday

Hi Everyone! Welcome! Today I have a quick post.  I made this card today for my big brother's birthday this week.  I have to admit...it's not really "him," but I thought it was a good masculine card.  Then again, the fact that his name is on it...guess that makes it "him," after all...lol!  So I went with GF WS "Edward." I colored him with Copics and the papers...I could not tell you where they are from! I got them at a surplus store.  The clips and brads I got at Joann's.  I stitched with my sewing machine and the sentiment is SU!  Thanks for stopping by!  Be back soon :)

Gingersnap: Copper, Ginger or rust (copper brads)
