Hello! I have a new post!!!

Hello and I apologize for not being here sooner!  I have been busy starting a brand new life with my fiance and our new pup!  I have been doing lots of crafting, but for a purpose!  I will be posting pictures later of my wedding invitations!

But for today I would like to share this card I made for my BFF's son on his 9th birthday!

I purchased "Basketball" from KennyKDownloads.com  I colored him using Copics and a Gelly Roll white pen.  The buttons I found in my stash...convenient, huh?  The letters are from the newly released "Spell it Out" by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps. I colored the letters then coated them with some Glossy Accents by Inkessentials.  The die cut words are from "Sports Sentimentables" Whimsy Shapeology Dies. The papers are Cosmo Cricket.  And the background stamp is "Street Art" by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps.  I cut the image out using an Xacto knife.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to get back soon with some more crafting fun!

Also, stay tuned for my new website in the works!

I'm back!

Hello there!  It's been a while and I'm not sure if anyone is still out there checking up on me :)  But I thought I'd share a card I just made with a newer stamp in my collection.  It is a Sweet Pea Stamp by Connie Fong.

I just love the sweet innocence of this image!  I used some K & Co papers, Wild Orchids flowers and some pearls from my stash I got at CKC last year.  The ribbon is also from my stash. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Birthday Postage stamps set and the butterflies are the Elegant Butterflies Die from Whimsy Stamps.  I used Copics and gel pens to color.  The image was cut and matted using Nestablilities and my Big Shot.

Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you soon!

Creative Card Crew's Recycling!

Hi there!  Thanks for stopping by today!  I'm here to share my latest creation!  Our challenge this week over at Creative Card Crew is to recycle something.  I used two images from our fabulous sponsor, Paper Pretties!  I colored them with Copics and paper pieced her skirt and cut them out.  I cut the corner into the sides of a milk jug.  I shredded some scrap green cardstock to use as grass for the bottom of the container.  The flowers are from a SU punch.  I layered them and stuck them to the insides of the jug.  I used the Crop-a-Dile to punch holes around the opening so I could weave the ribbons through.  Where the date is stamped on the jug, I pierced holes and stuck in square brads.  I stamped the sentiment from a wood dollar stamp.  I colored it with Copics.  Then I punched it out with a label punch and put a square eyelet in to attach it to the top of the jug.

Thanks for checking it out! Hope you find some inspiration and recycle something fun!

Happy Easter!

Stamp Something April Showers

Sorry for my absence!  Life gets in the way of crafting sometimes!  This week I am here to share my card for Stamp Something's "April Showers" challenge sponsored by Whiff of Joy.  We want to see rain, water, watercolor, etc.  So I used a raindrop embossing folder on the pink cardstock. I used watercolor pencils on the image and sentiment.  The paper has rainbows and clouds.  All of the other elements are from my stash.  Thanks for stopping by today and hope you visit the rest of the DT's projects!
