Cute Card Challenge

Hi All! Here is my submission for Cute Card Thursday's "Metallica" challenge! It's a crimped envelope card I tried off SCS tutorial. I sent it as a Valentine to my friend, Denise! I wanted to send her a nice little note and show off my new Giggling Tilda Magnolia! The technique is really easy with a super cute result! The first picture is the envelope and the second picture is the insert card for the note. I went with a pink, burgundy and off-white color scheme. Tilda was colored with a combination of markers and pencils. Thanks for checking it out!

Whiff of Joy Challenge

Hi All...I've been really under the weather the past few days and my creativity is lacking! I'm not thrilled with my post today, mainly due to the coloring. My hand apparently is not steady when I'm feeling yucky :( This is my submission for the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog. It was a sketch. I used a WOJ image sent to me by my friend Denise, owner of Whimsy Stamps ( www.whimsystamps.com ) The sentiment is from the "For a Friend" SU set. I embellised with Prima flowers and buttons, stickles for the raindrops and Fiskars lace corner punch for the the photo corners. Thanks for looking :) I hope to be more on my game in the next few days!
