Stamp Something
Happy Friday! Not much time for blogging today :( So here it is...my card for Stamp Something's newest challenge for "Favorites Month." This week it's favorite colors and or papers! My favorite (right now) is pink and brown. So while I was working on this one, I kind of combined sketches from 3 blogs to make it work for me! It started off as the sketch for Stamp With Fun, but then I thought it looked more like Mojo Monday...but then I figured I'd shoot for Limelight. Well it's my interpretation of each sketch! Let's put it that way. Also the theme this week over at Charisma Cardz is flower power! So I chose this freebie digi image I got from Digital-Ink Co...I never got to that challenge...OOPS!! And Daring Cardmakers' challenge is "Shabby Chic." It think it fits :) So anyway, that's all for now! Hope you like! Stop by Stamp Something and check out the rest of the DT samples! And please check out the information about the card drive that Erin is doing! Thanks!

Two for fun
Hi again! I've got my mojo this week so I've been pretty productive! I whipped these two up just because! The teddy bear one was actually a redo. I loved the coloring and the image, but the card I made initially, I hated! So I removed the image and reworked him onto this card. The black piece is actually from a card I had made a while ago that I wasn't crazy about either :) Reduce, reuse, recycle, right? The sentiment was from a pack of metal words I got out of clearance at Joann's. This card fits the "Animals" challenge over at Creative Inspirations.
The Santa card was because I feel like getting a jump start on Christmas! The image is from Wal-Mart, the sentiment is from my stash from the first CKC I went to! I tried to work in some challenges on this one...I have Santa's beard embossed with white.
I didn't do well with challenges on these two :( But I still love the way they turned out :) Thanks for stopping by today!

Good Morning! I can't believe that my last post was my 100th! I feel so proud :) Once the counter is fixed, I will have to start thinking about blog candy, so please keep checking back! Okay, for my quick post. I whipped this card up last night using the sketch from Double Dutch. I used a bunch of different DCVW papers, K&Co paper, various cardstocks and assorted embellishments. The image is Knight Connor from Whimsy Stamps. The colors are to celebrate fall...my FAVORITE time of year here! Which is also the challenge at Whimsy...fun fall colors! The nights are getting much cooler and it's SO beautiful! So anyway, have a great day! Thanks for checking in!

Whimsy Challenge and then some...
Good Morning, and Happy Monday! It was a busy weekend for me, but I got some much needed time with my dearest friend! So it was worthwhile :) My card for Whimsy Challenge this week is using the newest digital image from Whimsy...A Teddy for Paige. All proceeds from the sale of this image go directly into an account for Paige Welch, a young girl who just experienced a terrible ordeal and lost part of her arm. To read her story click HERE. To purchase the image, go to Whimsy Stamps. My friend, Erin, is having a card drive to help cheer Paige up, so if you have the time, please hop over to Erin's blog for the details. You even have the chance to win some YUMMY blog candy! So...for the card! Teddy was colored with colored pencils and matched to the DSP's in "Fun Fall Colors!" (Whimsy's challenge this week!) I used the sketch from Allsorts and focused on 2 colors to fit their challenge. I think that's all for now! Please check out the rest of the DT samples here! And while you're there, we are having a DT call! Sadly, one of our members has decided to step down, and one stepped up, so that opens 2 positions! Please see Whimsy for details! Have a great day!
My Time to Craft: Polka Dots (DSP on right corner, center flower)
Allsorts: Sketch + 2 colors (I focused on brown and orange)
