Different Seasons

Hello and thanks for stopping by this evening!  I have been messing around with some challenges today and here's what I came up with:

First I have this wintery card that I made for fun.  I knew the challenge at Saturday Spotlight was snowflakes, so I used this image I got from a swap a while back.  I tried to color him with similar colors from the snowman paper.  The snowballs are embossed with white icicle glitter, and the snowflakes with white Ice Stickles.  The other challenges I incorporated were: Die Cuts R Us- Christmas/Holiday leftovers, Everybody Art Challenge-Snowflakes, Creative Belli-Glitter or rhinestones, Gingersnap-Embossing powder, Colour Create-Kraft, Blue and White, Three Clovers-Winter theme, Stampin' B's-Winter fun, and Stamp with Fun-Snowflakes.

Next, this card is one I whipped up because I have so many new Greeting Farm stamps, I want an excuse to ink them all!  This is Fairy Eva.  I love how cute she is!  I colored her with watercolor pencils and then with metallic gel glitter pens.  The wings and dress are 3D glitter paint.  I loosely followed the sketch at Crazy 4 Challenges...added a few things and made the center piece a little larger.  Stamp, Scrap and Doodle wanted to see "girly."  Fairies make that easy!  Some other challenges that fit are:  Creative Belli-glitter or rhinestones, Charisma Cardz-anything new (stamp), Papercutz-Summer or beach theme, Crafty Cardmakers-what's new and Cute Daisy May-flowers and ribbon.  Thank so much for stopping by!  See you soon!

Color Somethings!

It's Friday!  Woo hoo!!!  Hope you all had an excellent week!  Today at Stamp Something the challenge is a color challenge...Blue and white somethings!  The sponsor is Whimsy Stamps.  I used the Princess Emma from the Whimsy Kids collection.  I colored her with watercolor pencils, white gel pen, silver glitter gel pens, white Fun Flock and some 3D glitter paint.  I went with a sketch over at C.R.A.F.T.  I embellished with ribbon, embossing, lace, Primas and the Whimsy Sentiment.  Thanks for stopping by and run over to see the other wonderful creations by the Stamp Something team

MyGrafico Sketch Challenge

Hello there!  Thanks for visiting me today!  I have a post I made for the sketch challenge over at MyGrafico today!  My second piece of work for the DT!  I'm enjoying the image choices we have to work with...lots of possibilities!  This week, we had this wonderful Star set by Black Leaf to choose from! So I went with some layers of the star I chose, making it pop off the page with 3D foam squares.  I colored it with watercolor pencil and glitter paint pens and Stickles.  The triangle is embossed with at Quikutz folder.  The sentiment is a metal charm.  Please check out the rest of the DT for more inspiration!

This card fits these challenges:

ABC-L is for Layering
Paperplay-Precious metals
Daring Cardmakers-Garnet
Kraftin' Kimmies-Heavy Metal
Digital Tuesday-Emboss it

Some challenge fun!

Hi All!  Happy Monday!  For those of you looking for a new Whimsy Stamps Challenge, please head on to SNR to the Whimsy Page!  That's where the challenge's new home is!   I am an Event Designer now, so please check back often.  There are some adorable new releases coming up so get ready!

Today I am posting a card I made for fun...I have SO MANY new stamps, I don't know where to begin!  So I thought I'd use one from a set I got out of a grab bag! Talk about hitting the jackpot!  I got a grab bag at a local hardware/craft store for $5...I got THREE acrylic stamp sets in it!  And tons of other goodies besides!  So this flower stamp is one of the stamps in a set.  All of the flowers are hearts..I stamped it in Mellow Moss and used a water pen and Regal Rose to color the other parts. I found these pretty green pearl brads on a shopping excursion yesterday with my bestest and the sentiment is from my button stash.  The paper is a clearance find at another craft store...it's K&Co.  So I'm so excited for all of my new stuff, I must go create!  Thanks for stopping by today!
