Tuesday and Creative Card Crew!

It's a new challenge week at Creative Card Crew!  The challenge is to make a Get Well Soon card or project.  Our sponsor this challenge is:

and this is the prize up for grabs:

Our DT did a fantastic job with this challenge, so please check it out!  Onto my card...I decided that I need to replenish my "boy" cards.  So I went with Firefighter Ian from GF.  I colored him with watercolor pencils.  The layout is an old one from my stash.  I used some buttons that I disassembled and reassembled with different buttons to match the colors.  The sentiment is from SU.  The black background is done with CB Diamond Plate folder.  I burned the edges of the red cardstock to fit the projects feel :)  Hope you like it and I hope you check out everyone else's projects!  I wish I'd thought of them first!  Happy Day!

This card fits challenges at:

The Pink Elephant:  Ribbon
Crazy 4 Challenges:  Red
LaLa Land:  No DP
Charisma Cardz:  Think male
Die Cuts R Us: No DP

One Last Valentine!

Hi there! Hope you are having a phenomenal weekend!  This card is the last Valentine I had to make.  It's for my Mom.  She always said that she felt she had been possessed by aliens when my brother was born, so that was the inspiration for this...lol!  This is from my brother and I.  I used a set I won from a blog hop a while ago...Starving Artist stamps are the images.  I followed the sketch from Card Patterns.  I colored these guys with watercolor pencils.  The sentiment is from SU.  The hearts I got at a discount store...whole package was 49 cents!!!  The flower is 6 Primas layered.  I finished it with the silver eyelets.  Hope you love it!  Happy Valentine's Day!  And please come back tomorrow for a Sneak Peek at Whimsy's New Release coming Feb 17th

Three Cards

Hello! Hope you had a fantastic weekend!  I was busy with a birthday party, dinner at Mom's, babysitting and on and on!  But yesterday I whipped up 2 of the following posts. It's been very busy!  So without further ado, here we go:

The first card is what I made for my friend's daughter.  It was her 4th birthday and the party was all about fairies.  So I thought this little Swiss Pixie fairy was perfect!  I wanted sparkle and fun!  So I went with the Basic Grey sketch for this week (BG paper in the small squares).  I also used some K&Co papers and coordinating chipboard stickers.  I colored the pixie with watercolor pencils and Stickles.  This card fits challenges at:  Pollycraft: Things with Wings, My Time to Craft: Fairies, Crafty Creations:  Wings, Creative Belli:  Ribbon, Basic Grey: Sketch.
The next card I have is for the Club Anya challenge.  It is a sketch challenge.  I got this image from a friend. She is colored with watercolor pencils and Stickles.  The paper is K&Co.  The flowers are layers of Primas edged with Stickles.  The center is a rhinestone and a spacer ring. The sentiment is SU.

The last card I'm posting for today is using another Anya image I got from a friend.  I colored her with watercolors and Stickles.  The layout is from Aly's Sunday Sketch. The flowers are Primas and a punched flower with a spacer and a jeweled brad. Sentiment and flower stamp are from SU "Noteworthy" set.  Paper is My Mind's Eye.  This card also fits challenges at: The Pink Elephant: Mushy Gushy Valentine, Stamp With Fun: Hearts, Double Dutch: Be My Valentine, Gingersnap: Romance, Lala Land: Hearts, Charisma Cardz: Love, C.R.A.F.T.: Valentine's or Love, Lili of the Valley:  Valentine's, PaperPlay:  Love, Stampin' for the Weekend:  Valentine's,  Crazy 4 Challenges: Valentine's, Pile It On:  To the one you love.

Thanks for stopping by today!  See you Wednesday with a new MyGrafico sketch challenge card!
