Stamp Something Summer!

Happy Friday! Today I have a card I whipped up for our Summer Something challenge at Stamp Something this week! Our sponsor is LaLa Land Crafts!  I got to work with Snorkel Sherman.  Isn't he fun?  I went with a sketch and decided to make a shaker card...but the glitter keeps sticking to the glossy accented goggles...lol!  He's colored with Copics.  Thanks for stopping by and please check out the rest of the DT

Quirky Crafts: Summer
Rosie D's: Blue+fish (cat is swimming with fins...does that count...lol?)

Stamping on Fabric

So I decided to experiment.  I had this plain apron that I had intended on decorating.  Today was the day!  I used my Alota Stamps cake.  I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.  I colored with Copics. It did bleed slightly...thus the shading...lol!  I hand wrote "eat cake."  Hope you like it!

Challenges:
Cute Card Thursday- Anything but a square (not a card, does it count?)
YNS- Buttons (3 tiny ones in center of cake's flowers...didn't photo well!)
Allsorts-Buttons

Whimsy Inspirations

Hello! Thanks for stopping by today! This is a card I posted for Whimsy Inspirations.  This is the Woodland Fairy by MelJen Designs Fairy Tale Collection for the Whimsy Digital Collection.  I colored her with Copics and highlighted with white gel pen.  The flowers are felt and I added a rhinestone flower to the center of the solid flower.  The "stitching" is a combination of free hand and a border stamp. The branch punch finished the flowers.  I also added a rhinestone brad to her dress for a little more sparkle.

In the second photo, you can see the sentiment is a pullout tab.  The sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy and it is a rubber stamp set.  I used a new EK Success label punch for the backing. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you stop by Whimsy for more inspiration!  Have a great day!

Challenges:
Cupcake Craft: Dazzle Us
Pollycraft: Ribbon and bling
Sketch and Stash: Sketch (I used scrap cardstock from my stash to do all of the layers)
Challenge Up Your Life: Critter cratters and bling (I'm guessing on the critter cratters!)
Everybody Art Challenge: Things with wings (butterfly, bird)
Rainbow Lady: Fantasty (woodland fairy princess) and tag
Aly's Sunday:  Sewing

Stamp Something Happy!

Happy Friday, All! Glad to have you back!  This week's challenge at Stamp Something is to stamp something Happy!  Our sponsor is Karen's Doodles this week and she kindly let us work with her images.  I chose "Born to Ride."

I went with the Tent Card design to make this card for my step-dad for Father's Day.  I gave him an early card...so this is the one that doesn't go with a gift...lol!  I used black base, street sign paper from Rusty Pickle, silver brads, black mini brads, and the CB Diamond Plate embossing folder.  The biker is colored with Copics and silver glitter markers on the chrome parts.  I Glossy Accented his lenses and the lights.  Hope you enjoy it and please visit the rest of the DT for more fun images and projects!

Cards for Men: Father's Day
Double Dutch: Father's Day
My Time to Craft: For someone special/Special occasion
