Stamp Something!

Happy Friday! That means a new challenge over at Stamp Something! The challenge this week is Birthday Somethings. I used the sketch over at Whiff of Joy and my newest Oakley image (colored with watercolor pencils) for this one! I wanted to make a boy card to fit the Pile it On challenge "for the boys." And the buttons were added for ABC "button" challenge. I love the colors on this...I gave a friend a blanket for her baby shower that was almost identical to the background paper on this card! All of the papers are from DCVW's summer stack. The "Happy Birthday" is a clear sticker, the "to you" is from SU's "Small Sayings," and the gifts are different SU images. New Pixie Stamp

Hello! Happy Monday to you! I have been so busy...hard to get my stamping in! But I did play with one of my MANY new stamps today! This is my new CC Designs Swiss Pixie stamp. I absolutely love her! I colored her with watercolor pencils and 3D glitter paint. The papers are from Rusty Pickle. The embellies are from K& Co and the jewelry aisle at JoAnn's. The sentiment is from SU "So very" set. I used the sketch from Sketch and Stash (sketch and something new or never used or neglected). It also fits Cupcake Craft's "Sweet" challenge, One Stop Craft's "pink and black" challenge and ABC's "anything goes" challenge. Thanks for checking her out!

Whimsy Stamp Challenges Ribbon!!

Whimsy Stamps challenge today is Ribbon! You just have to include ribbon on your creation. I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp and some fun papers I got from my dearest, best friend for my birthday! The image is the snow hare from Whimsy. I colored him gray to tie in the black button and embossed swirls. The sentiment I typed on the computer and printed on the base color cardstock. Thanks for stopping by :)

Stamp Something Summery!

Happy Friday! It's new challenge time over at Stamp Something! This week, we'd like to see you create something summery! I followed the sketch for A Spoon Full of Sugar and added a charm for Lili of the Valley's challenge. And since the challenge is "Anything goes..." for ABC, it fits there, too! I used some DCVW papers. The stamps are from SU. I used a charm sentiment as well (great clearance find at JoAnn's! Mojo, summer fun, color challenge and no patterned paper!

Hello all! Today I have this cute little penguin card to post! I made it for one challenge, then changed my mind! It fits a few different challenges. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday, the color scheme from The Pink Elephant (turquoise, brown and neutrals), Pile it On's "no patterned paper," and ABC's anything goes with a bonus "animal" challenge. I stamped the penguin in Close to Cocoa and watercolored her top, flower, feet and bill. I used white Ice Stickles on her chest and face. The embellishments are a brown button with hemp twine, a brown sunburst hat pin, Primas, a half pearl and turquoise staples. Hope you like her :)

Whimsy Animal Magic

Happy Monday! This week over at Whimsy Stamps Challenge blog, the challenge is Animal Magic! The only rule is to use an animal in your project! I chose to combine a few challenges, so I went with the Whimsy Stamps duck. I colored him with watercolors, as well as his back ground. I sparkled the water with glitter glue. I went with the "tealy" challenge over at Cute Card Thursday which you had to do teal and red. I also followed the sketch for Friday sketchers. And finally, the paper roses fit the challenge for One Stop Crafts, Stamp Something's charmed somethings and A Spoon Full of Sugar "floral fantasy." I used patterned paper from Basic Grey and DCVW.
