Another card for fun

Hi there! Back again! I returned home this weekend after caring for a sweet dog for a week.  I've got my crafting corner back in order and my mojo is on high power!  So I have this card to share.

My dear friend, Denise, was kind enough to let me stamp up some of her Magnolias to use so that's where this cutie came from!  I tried to follow the sketch from Sunday at 365.  I did turn it and move some things.  The flowers are Wild Orchids.  The papers are from DCWV Linen Closet.  The letter tags I had in my stash.  I "hand" stitched (lol) the pieces and the background paper.  Tilda is colored with Copics. Thanks for visiting! See you again soon!

Challenges:
365-Sunday-Sketch (turned and moved)
Lexi's Creations: real or faux stitching
Our Creative Corner: Cork (the brown paper looks like cork)
Penny's: 7 something (7 paper sections)
Your Next Stamp: flower power

Quick one...

Hi there! Thanks for visiting me today!  I just wanted to quickly share this post.  I made this card for the sketch challenge at PollyCraft today. I left off the bottom "strip" because I did extra layers and the flowers. The image, I got from a friend.  The sentiment is Whimsy. Flowers are Primas and papers are DCWV and SEI.  Thanks for checking it out!

Stamp a Recipe Something!

Happy Friday, All! Thanks for coming by today! I'm looking forward to a day off and going to hang out with my bestest friend and the kiddos!  Before I head out, I wanted to share our challenge at Stamp Something this week! It's a recipe:   1 Image, 1 Ribbon, 1 paper.

So I decided to whip up this "thank you" card for one of my customers.  I went with Reeta from GF.  I colored this adorable image with Copics and paper-pieced the skirt.  I used my Nesties to frame it and a white gel pen to draw the designs around the frame.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. The flowers are little silver ribbon flowers I found on clearance at Ben Franklin.  The ribbon is a $1 clearance find at Wal-Mart.  Paper is Basic Grey.  Thanks for looking and please visit the amazingly talented DT for more eye candy!

Challenges:
The Crafty Pad: Animal fun
The Pink Elephant: 3 layers, 2 die cuts, and ribbon
Little Red Wagon: Nesties
Stampin' B's: Polka dots
