Three for Today!
Hi All! Thanks for stopping by today! I am sharing what I made today...2 Boy Birthday cards and a Thank You! I went to the CKC in Manchester, NH yesterday with some friends and we had a ball! It wasn't quite as big as we are used to, but it was still worth my while! I got TONS of new goodies to play with! Including "Camille," by the GF. I also got 2 other GF stamps, the Martha Stewart scoring board, tons of papers and lots of other stuff! I'm so excited! So lets get to it!
So this is a card made for the boy I babysit. He's a HUGE Star Wars fan, so I thought this adorable digi from the Greeting Farm called "Chibi Kendo," would be perfect! The papers are Cosmo Cricket. He's colored with Copics and the "light saber" is coated with Glossy Accents.
Challenges:
Creative Belli: Birthday (old forgotten stash is the button)
Corrosive: Celebrate, Birthdays
Stamp With Us: Birthday
This is "Camille" by The Greeting Farm. I picked her up at the CKC from Scrap-Mart! I love her! She's colored with Copics and the fur is Fun Flocked. The sentiment is Whimsy Stamps. I also got the bling at the CKC!
Challenges:
ABC: T is for Thank you
Crazy 4 Challenges: Sketch
Totally Gorjuss: In stitches
And Finally...
This is a card I made for my nephew's birthday. I won this digi on a challenge blog, but the designer escapes my memory! Oopsie! I paper pieced the skateboard and the papers are all Cosmo Cricket.
Challenges:
Corrosive: Birthday
Pile it On: Boyish colors
Stamp With Us: Birthday
By the Cute and Girly: Celebrations
Creative Belli: Birthday (old stash, tag tiles)

Whimsy Inspiration "Encouragement."
Happy Sunday! The weather has finally improved here (well, it stopped raining anyway!) and I'm feeling pretty good! Hope you are enjoying your day wherever you are! Today I have a card I made for my friend's daughter. She recently applied to a summer program for gifted children. It required application, essay, interview, etc, and she's only eleven! Well, she's waiting to find out and so I thought this card would be perfect for her whether she wins the spot or not. The sentiment is so fitting! It's encouraging without congratulating OR sympathizing. And who can resist this sweet turtle called "Hang in There," by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps Digital collection?!?! I just love the sweet face! He's colored with Copics and accented with Glossy Accents. The papers are DCWV "Flower Shower," pack. The sentiment is by Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy's Digital Collection and it's called "Hang in There," Sentiment set. So thanks for stopping by and checking in! Please scroll through the Whimsy Inspirations Blog to see more exciting images from Whimsy!
