Challenge time!

Hi there!  The week is almost over...I can't wait :)  My whole body is tired of work!  But, I still find a way to create!  I have a card that I originally made as a DT card for one of the challenge blogs.  But I decided to make something a little more my style for that challenge (come back tomorrow to see!)  I went with a GF Hope and Grace image.  I colored her to match the papers.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I punched layered circles and miraculously found coordinating buttons!  "Hope" you like it :)  Thanks for stopping by!

MyGrafico Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Ahoy there!  Thanks for visiting me today!  And welcome to another MyGrafico sketch challenge!  This week we have this cute Pirate set from Black Leaf!  I used the pirate and I sized his head larger than his body.  I also used the parrot.  Both are colored with watercolor pencils and gel pens.  The card is for my step-dad's birthday. He's a big boater so we joke about the whole pirate thing...lol!  The papers are DCWV.  The sentiment is one I typed on the computer and punched then layered on a black punched circle.  There is a strip of black ribbon between the 2 papers.  I used button brads on the pirate's vest.  I hope you like him!  And if you do, stop by the rest of the DT's pages to see what they came up with!  Thanks for stopping by today!

A Touch of Spring at Stamp Something!

Happy Friday and Welcome!  Thanks for coming by today!  Our challenge at Stamp Something is hosted by ME!  And I chose "A Touch of Spring" as the theme!  Whiff of Joy is our sponsor for this challenge!  I used one of my favorite WOJ images and colored her with watercolor pencils and gel pens. The layout is from the sketch at Basic Grey (though the card is not eligible!)  I just love the colors of this!  The sentiment is from SU.  The papers are K&Co and the lace was from a "kit" I got at The Dollar Tree!  I really hope you join in the challenge and help us beat the winter blues!  The DT has done a fantabulous job, so please visit them all!  Thanks for stopping by!

New Digi

So I'm addicted to Greeting Farm images!  I usually would prefer to have rubber stamps, but when I saw this digi, it was a MUST have!  She's too cute!  So I went with a sketch and I saw that the challenge for Creative Inspirations was Sepia...well I started with the right tone!  Anyway, the image is called "Rain."  I colored her with watercolor pencils.  The sentiment is a wood stamp from my stash.  The small flower stamps are from a SU set.  The paper is DCWV Crafty Stack. The flowers are different Primas layered and affixed with gold spacers and copper brads.  The large brads I got at Joann's.  I edged all of the layers with Close to Cocoa ink from SU.  Thanks for taking a peek!  See you soon!

He's so cute!  The sentiment is from SU.  I colored him with watercolor pencils and a gel pen.  I used 2 papers from a Doggy pack I got at Michaels.  The ribbon is also from Michael's.  The bone paperclips and the buttons I found at Big Lots.  Thanks for checking him out :)

So, I have the privilege of working with Shy-Ann!  I colored her with watercolor pencils, 3D glitter gel, and gel pens.  I tied a yellow bow and glued that to her bun and glued a tiny paper bloom in her hand.  The sentiment is done on MS Works and is punched on CB scalloped nested dies.  The background is embossed with CB Stylized flowers and the green inchies are embossed with CB Victoria folder. The ribbon is from Joann's and the sunflower is from a "scrap" bag at Wal-Mart I got YEARS ago!  Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have fun hopping along!  Good Luck!

Hope it's a fun-filled day!"  I used CB folders Branches, and Mesh.  I also used the CB Funky Circles Die for the backing for the bear.  Thanks for stopping by and please visit ALL of the DT to see some fabulous inspiration!
