PTW, CCC, and Spoonful of Sugar

Good Morning! I have two more posts for the moment. I was busy, busy, busy stamping away last night! First is my version of the PTW sketch challenge. I cut and folded a piece of a cereal box to shape a "bag." I coated it with glue and layered a recycled piece of tissue paper. I used some Basic Grey paper and some coordinating cardstocks. The image is embellied with shimmer glue and pearls and picture holders with flower brads. I punched four holes for grommets and used brown striped ribbon. On the back, I found some wooden letter tags and threaded them through the brown ribbon and embellished with a Prima.

The next project is the sketch for Spoonful of Sugar. This one I wanted to make bright and fun colors. I used some Basic Grey, orange, red (CB'd in Textile), blue (stitched in haphazard circles), K&Co paper, paper and nylon flowers, buttons and a "Friends" wire sentiment. The image is one I've had in my stash and never used! I think this is such a fun card! It also fits the challenge for Creative Card Crew "girls just wanna have fun" challenge! Thanks for visiting! Come back soon :)

Mojo sketch

Back again! I've had a tidal wave of mojo today! Wait until Friday when Stamp Something posts the challenge...that's what got me moving! Anyway, this post is for Mojo Monday's sketch and for Crafty Goings On...they wanted to see coloring for their exciting blog candy giveaway! So I stamped this adorable little frog prince from Imaginesce. I colored him with watercolor pencils and adorned his crown with some gold glitter glue. The sentiment is from SU's Fairy Tale Wedding set. The flowers are Primas and the papers are Basic Grey and SU. The cardstock was embossed with CB stylized flowers. Thanks so much for coming back! I love and appreciate all the comments :)

A sketch and more

Hi there! Here's my card that I whipped up for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. I used a new WOJ stamp that was paper pieced. I watercolored the non-pieced areas. The embellishments are eyelets (which fits the Cute Card Thursday's "eye eye" challenge) of various sizes, a paper flower, brad, disk and a button. This card is simple, but I love the stitching! The card also fits Cute Daisy May's "friends" challenge, Pile it On's "watercolor" challenge, and Charisma Cardz challenge "tag it." Thanks for checking it out!

As many as I could...

This post is cramming as many challenges I could into this tiny project! I followed the "gift card holder" challenge on Double Dutch, the "recipe" of 2 designer papers, 1 ribbon and 1 hardware for Stamp With Us, Charisma Cardz tag challenge, Cupcake Crafts "pink, green, brown, animals and flowers," challenge, Cute Daisy May's "friends," challenge, Cute Card's "eye eye" eyelet challenge, and finally...Stamping with Fun's "pearls," challenge. Now that was a lot of stuff for one tiny piece! I used 2 DSP's from SU, brown ribbon, my new kitty WOJ stamp, sentiment is from WOJ also. I CB'd the flap with the Stylized Flowers folder and embellished with tiny pearls on the bottom two corners and the flower brad on the flap. Thanks for checking it out :)

Whimsy Sketch Challenge

Thanks for coming back! Boy have I been busy...I have the mojo I guess! Here is my card for the Whimsy Sketch Challenge this week. The card also fits the eyelet challenge on Cute Card Thursday and the animal challenge on Lili of the Valley. I started banana SU cardstock. The first layer is Basic Grey paper. Next is blue cardstock that I stitched around the border. I cut 3 strips of yellow and ran them through the Stylized Flowers folder on the CB. I added the ribbon. The ovals were cut with the Coluzzle...one out of some K&Co DSP and the smaller in the same as the stitched blue piece. The image is the Whimsy Moose colored with watercolor pencils. Embellishments are Prima and other paper flowers joined with a rhinestone brad, and the book plate with the sentiment that was handwritten and the pewter colored square and round eyelets in the yellow cardstock. I hope you enjoy it! For more inspirations, check out the Whimsy Stamps Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the DT came up with!
