Hello again. So this is a card for my 13 year-old nephew. He was injured pretty seriously in a bicycle accident. He tried to land a jump and instead, landed in the hospital with a lacerated liver and fractured forearm...poor kid! He's home now, recovering. So I thought I'd send a card to wish him well! I don't have much that works with boys his age, so I did my best! I used the sketch from
Friday Sketchers. I embossed the sentiment on the tag and inside the card. The image, GF "Edward," is colored with watercolor pencils and highlighted with white gel pen. The edges of the tag and the pocket are distressed with a sanding sponge to fit
Cupcake Craft's challenge. I did some faux stitching and doodling to fit the challenges over at
Papertake Weekly and
Three Clovers (respectively). The pocket fits the challenge over at
Cute Card Thursday "hidden treasures." The ribbon qualifies over at
Paper Maniac's challenge. The embellishments (and they are aplenty!) fit the
