Roses on Paper Challenge

Happy Friday! I've been working on this card challenge all week and finally finished it. My friend Denise was kind enough to stamp me some images for this card challenge. It was a sketch...and it was tough! I decided to give it a shot as a baby girl card for one of my customers who just gave birth to their fourth child...a little girl! I went with a cream colored base card and then layered pink which I ran through the Cuttlebug with the textile folder. I then layered the dark brown patterned cardstock. I embellished with layers of paper flowers, an oval book plate framing "sweet pea" from the Cuttlebug folder, pink buttons and white pearl strands. Finally, the image is on white cardstock on top of pink on cream. I used a Fiskars "lace" corner punch on the white and scalloped edge scissors on the pink. This image is colored with colored pencils and adorned with white ice Stickles on the fur trim and pom poms of the girl. It was a lot of work, and I wish this picture came out better! Still no camera :( Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Janna this card is beautiful! I love the colors you chose, and the innocence of it all is just so sweet. That stamp is adorable too, and goes so well with the CB'd folder and all the details off of the challenge (which was a lot of requirements!). Wonderful job, thanks for sharing it with us to enjoy!
