My Grafico Blog Hop!

It's a New Year and that means a new MyGrafico Challenges Design Team! And I am a NEW member! We are blog hopping twice this week and you have two chances to win the super cute digi set the teams are working with this week: Zenware Designs Circus! Whether you are hopping with us on Monday or Wednesday or even better, BOTH days, be sure to leave a comment at each designer's blog for a chance to win this entire set! One member of the DT (previously chosen) will be randomly selecting a winner from all comments left on her blog. Which designer? Well that's a secret so leave a comment on all of them so you don't miss out on a chance to win!  To view the prize, click HERE.

You can also win by playing along with this week's challenges! On Monday, Team A will be showing how they included the old (repurposed item) and the new (new item) into their artwork using the Circus set while Wednesday's Team B will be highlighting artwork based on the sketch of the week. Enter both challenges and double your chances to win!

If you have come here first, go back to MyGrafico and start at the beginning of the list.  If not, you should have come from Teri's blog

Now to finish the hop, please head on back to MyGrafico as I am the last stop on the Design Team!  Good luck, and thanks so much for playing along!

Whimsy Stamps New Release Blog Hop

Welcome to my turn on the hop!  Whimsy Stamps is doing a New Release Blog Hop!  If you've been hopping, you should have come from Erin's page.  If not, please start at Crissy's blog to begin!  We have a fantabulous prize which is the purpose of the hop...Whimsy's new releases! Not to mention all of the bonus pieces :)

My card is made using "Cool Ride" the winter carousel horse from the Crissy Armstrong collection. I colored it with watercolor pencils and glitter markers.  I then went over it with glitter gel pens for sparkle.  The papers, I really don't know the brand name, but the embellies are buttons, primas, spacers, ribbon and a rhinestone.  I also used a snow marker and 3D glitter pens to make the trim on the horse's cape.

Your next stop on the hop is STACEY's blog.  Please hurry on over and keep hopping!  Have fun and good luck!

This card fits these challenges:

Cute Card:  Sketch
Crafty Pad: Some buttons (snowflakes are buttons)
Pile it On:  Anything digital (image) and Crystal (rhinestone center of flowers)
Corrosive: 2 favorite embellies (Primas and Buttons)
Inky Impressions:  Glitter, embossing or flocking
Creative Card Crew:  Anything goes
Crafty Cardmakers:  Favorites (fave embellies)

Thanks for looking!

Challenge time!

Happy Friday and Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a super holiday season!  Back to work with all of the challenges now :)  Hopefully, I will have more time to participate in all of these challenges.  So today is a new challenge at Stamp Something!  The challenge is "New Somethings."  Use something new in your stash to create your project!  Our sponsor this week is KLM Designs

"KLM Digi Stamps (KLM Designs) was started by a Mother & Daughter team. Kathryn
(owner of KLM Digi Stamps) and Sue (Company's artist) started designing digi
stamps for their own creations. After much response & excitement to their
designs they formed KLM Digi Stamps.

KLM carry's a large selection of designs from clowns, which are the company's
signature design to digi sentiments. All images are delivered ZIP format. Each
image file contains JPEG and PNG format files. Images can be resized, reversed
and altered to your likings."

Winner will receive 3 images of her choice.

I went with the Young Cowboy image which I think is too cute!  I colored him with watercolor pencils and a white gel pen.  The "badge" is a gold star button I found in my stash.  I used new papers to set up the layout.  I went with a new job theme...wish you luck!  Please check out the rest of the DT...we have a new team and they are AMAZING!!!

These are the challenges I touched on:

Cute Card Thursday:  Sketch
Crafty Creations:  Glitter and Bling New Years (new job, new year theme)
Paperplay:  New beginnings
Daring Cardmakers: New beginnings
Stampin' For the Weekend:  New beginnings

Thanks for stopping by and Happy 2010!
